The award is given annually to a WSUV faculty member whose research quality and quantity are exemplary and whose work has had a positive influence on the broader community. It is WSU Vancouver\u2019s highest research honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cScholarship in anthropology is richer and deeper because of Ed Hagen. He is a leader in introducing mental health research into biological anthropology and directs WSU Vancouver\u2019s Bioanthropology Lab.
