Also this year we welcomed 11 new graduate students, who joined the 55 continuing students, and we congratulated several recent graduates. Anthropology faculty and students continue to conduct and publish innovative research.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-image-67\">\n<figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-cas\/uploads\/sites\/3206\/2019\/05\/duff_andrew.jpg\" alt=\"Andrew Duff.\" class=\"wp-image-67\" width=\"104\" height=\"125\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Andrew Duff <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>In addition, the generosity of our alumni and friends helped us welcome our 18th annual William D. Lipe Visiting Scholar in Archaeological Method and Theory. Donations to the <a href=\"https:\/\/foundation.wsu.edu\/give\/?fund=52e1526f-ebb4-401d-9e0e-81b2d7ea5ab1&amp;utm_source=anthropology-development-fund&amp;utm_medium=wsu-link&amp;utm_campaign=arts-and-sciences\">Anthropology Excellence Fund<\/a> support bringing scholars to campus to speak in our Colloquium series and to interact with our graduate and undergraduate students, while also supporting the activities of our Undergraduate Anthropology Club, among many other benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can read all about these changes and more in\u00a0 the links at left.
