Anthropology | Northwest Reading Room

The Northwest Reading Room is a facility available to faculty, students, and other researchers. A large collection of serials and books, including much of the “gray literature” for the Plateau region are held. Archaeological site records for Museum collections are available for use.

The collections include all of the WSU Department of Anthropology Reports of Investigation series, the Washington Archaeological Research Center (WARC) reports, WSU Laboratory of Anthropology and History reports, the Center for Northwest Anthropology project reports, and Contributions to Cultural Resource Management series. There are also files of many unpublished letter reports.

A computerized listing of the holdings is available. The materials are non-circulating. A reading area is available and photocopies can be made.

For information on the collections or opportunities to use the materials contact Dr. Shannon Tushingham at shannon.tushingham@wsu.edu.
